MaXX Radio!

Radio Erika was an illegal (pirate) radio station based in Belgium that operated during the late 1970s and early 1980s. It broadcast from a ship anchored in the North Sea, outside of Belgian territorial waters, to evade regulations. The station primarily played popular music and aimed to provide an alternative to state-controlled broadcasting. It ceased operations after increasing pressure from authorities and changes in broadcasting laws. Radio Erika is remembered as part of the broader history of offshore pirate radio in Europe.
