U100 Playlist
Detailed Introduction
U100 was the branding for a pair of FM radio stations, simulcasting on 100.3 MHz in Minneapolis-St. Paul (WLOL-FM) and 101.3 MHz in the Twin Cities suburbs (KRSI-FM), from 1974 to 1976. The stations featured a Top 40 format and competed directly with WDGY and KDWB during their time on air. U100 was known for its high-energy presentation, colorful promotions, and popular DJs. The simulcast ended in September 1976 when both stations were sold, and the frequencies adopted new formats.
