Classic 99

Classic 99 was the on-air branding for KFUO-FM, a radio station in St. Louis, Missouri, that broadcast classical music. It was owned by the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod and operated from 1948 until 2010. The station was known for its dedication to classical music and cultural programming, serving as a major source for classical music lovers in the region. In 2010, the station was sold to Joy FM, a Christian contemporary station, and ceased its classical music format. The transition marked the end of one of the longest-running classical radio stations in the United States.
