Detailed Introduction
Jack FM in Germany was a short-lived radio station that operated in the Rhine-Main area from 2006 to 2008. It was based on the "Jack FM" format popular in North America, featuring a playlist of diverse music genres with a "we play what we want" philosophy. The station was owned by Radio Group and broadcast on the frequency 96.1 MHz in Frankfurt. Due to limited audience reach and financial challenges, Jack FM ceased operations and was replaced by another station. It is one of the few examples of the Jack FM format being attempted outside English-speaking countries.
