Radio Horizonte

Radio Horizonte was a Peruvian radio station based in Lima that operated from 1978 to 2011. It was known for its focus on contemporary music, particularly rock, pop, and new wave, catering to a young and urban audience. The station became an influential platform for introducing international and alternative music trends to Peru. In 2011, it ceased operations and was replaced by the sports-focused radio station Radio La Zona. Radio Horizonte remains remembered by listeners as a pioneer in Peru's modern music radio scene.
