The Summit FM

The Summit FM is a non-commercial, member-supported public radio station based in Akron, Ohio, with additional signals in Youngstown and western Pennsylvania. It operates on frequencies 91.3 FM (Akron/Canton), 90.7 FM (Youngstown/Warren), and 90.1 FM (Struthers, Ohio). The station is known for its adult album alternative (AAA) format, featuring a mix of indie, rock, folk, blues, and other genres. The Summit FM also runs specialized programs, such as "Rock and Recovery," which provides music and support for individuals in recovery, and "KIDJAM! Radio," a positive, commercial-free music channel for children. It is owned and operated by the Akron Public Schools.
