Laser 558 was a Europe-based offshore pirate radio station broadcasting from the North Sea in the mid-1980s, primarily targeting the United Kingdom. Although not specific to Belgium, it gained a pan-European audience, including listeners in Belgium, due to its powerful signal and English-language programming. The station was known for its "clutter-free" format, playing continuous pop music with minimal interruptions. It operated from the MV Communicator ship and faced legal challenges before ceasing operations in 1985.
