KKNX

KKNX is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Eugene, Oregon, broadcasting on 840 kHz. The station primarily airs an oldies music format, featuring hits from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. KKNX is owned by John and Renate Tilson through the company McKenzie River Broadcasting. It operates during the daytime with a power of 10,000 watts but reduces power at night to 49 watts to avoid interference with other stations on the same frequency. KKNX also broadcasts on an FM translator, K277CT, at 103.3 MHz to expand its reach.
