Radio Salapan

Radio Salapan was an underground radio station operated by Indonesian freedom fighters during the Indonesian National Revolution (1945–1949). It was established in Bandung and played a key role in disseminating information, nationalist propaganda, and rallying support for the independence movement against Dutch colonial forces. The station's name, "Salapan," means "nine" in Sundanese, symbolizing its connection to the local culture. To avoid detection by Dutch authorities, the station frequently changed its location and broadcasting frequencies. It became a symbol of resistance and the struggle for Indonesian sovereignty.
