Radio Sinfónica

Radio Sinfónica was a Chilean radio station operated by the University of Chile. It was launched in 1940 to promote classical music and cultural programming, becoming a significant platform for artistic and educational content in the country. The station broadcasted orchestral performances, including those by the University of Chile Symphony Orchestra, alongside cultural and academic programming. It ceased operations in 1998 due to financial challenges faced by the university. Radio Sinfónica played a key role in fostering classical music appreciation in Chile during its operation.
