Радио СССР (Radio USSR) was the state-run radio broadcasting service of the Soviet Union, operating from its inception in the 1920s until the dissolution of the USSR in 1991. It served as a primary tool for disseminating government-approved news, propaganda, cultural programs, and music across the Soviet Union and internationally. The station broadcast in multiple languages to reach both domestic and global audiences, including Russian, English, and others. After the collapse of the USSR, its operations were restructured and transitioned into modern Russian broadcasting services.
