Пиратское радио (Pirate Radio) was a Russian radio station that operated from 1991 to 1997. It was one of the first commercial radio stations in post-Soviet Russia, broadcasting in Moscow and gaining popularity for its unconventional and rebellious style. The station primarily featured Western rock, pop, and electronic music, catering to a younger audience. It was known for its informal and edgy programming, which contrasted with the more traditional state-run media of the time. The station eventually ceased operations due to financial difficulties.
