Classical 104.9 FM

Classical 104.9 FM was a classical music radio station based in Houston, Texas, operating under the call sign KXNG. It was owned by the nonprofit organization Houston Public Media, an arm of the University of Houston System. The station launched in May 2017, providing 24/7 classical music programming, complementing news and talk content on KUHF 88.7 FM. In October 2020, the classical programming was moved online and to HD radio, and the 104.9 FM frequency was sold to KSBJ Educational Foundation, which launched a Christian radio format.
