Hennef Playlist
Detailed Introduction
The Hennef radio station was a longwave transmission facility located near Hennef, Germany. It was built in 1911 and served as a key wireless communication station during World War I and World War II. The station featured a large umbrella antenna suspended between tall wooden towers. After its military use, the station was eventually dismantled in the mid-20th century. Today, remnants of the facility, such as foundation structures, can still be found in the area.
