Radio Corporación

Radio Corporación was a prominent Chilean radio station founded in 1935. Known for its significant role in the country's political and social discourse, it became a platform for diverse political perspectives throughout its history. During the presidency of Salvador Allende (1970–1973), the station was closely associated with the government, supporting the socialist agenda of the Popular Unity coalition. It ceased operations following the military coup in 1973, when the station was shut down by the new regime. Radio Corporación remains a notable part of Chile's media history for its political influence and cultural impact during a turbulent period.
