Detailed Introduction
Radio-Cruiseschip was a Dutch offshore radio station that operated briefly in the early 1960s. It broadcast from the ship *MV Uilenspiegel*, which was anchored off the coast of the Netherlands. The station primarily aired popular music and sought to challenge the state monopoly on radio broadcasting. Due to legal and technical challenges, its operation was short-lived. It is considered part of the early history of pirate radio in Europe.
